Google Chrome Introduces 3 New AI-Based Features
Google has introduced three new features in Google Chrome, all based on artificial intelligence (AI) technology.
The company revealed these features, noting that they are being rolled out for the desktop version of Google Chrome.
The first feature involves an enhancement to Google Lens in Chrome, allowing it to be used for “Circle to Search.”
According to a blog post by Google, with this feature, when the Lens icon tool is clicked and something on the web page is selected, details about it will be displayed in a side panel.
The blog post explains that users can use multi-search in the side panel for details such as color, brand, and more, and find answers to their queries through Google Gemini.
Another feature, called “Tab Compare,” is also being introduced. It will gather multiple item tabs into one window and provide brief explanations of each item using AI.
This feature will be particularly helpful for online shopping, as users will be able to see the prices and other details of items from different companies in one place.
The third feature will allow users to search web pages from their browser history more easily.
AI technology will assist them in this task.
These three features will be available to users in the United States first in the coming weeks.
Google has not yet clarified when these features will be introduced in other countries.
